The Virtual Law Library is an instrument for the jurisprudential online search. It offers local independent and uncomplicated access to legal information on the Internet.
At present the following modules are available:

• Search in 32 databases whith our search engine "Parallel Search"
• Search for academically relevant sources on the Internet
• Search more than 90 archives gaining academically relevant full texts
• Different comfortable search options for the legal literature of the Berlin State Library - Prussian Cultural Heritage
• Bibliographical search for articles in law journals and anniversary publications
• Search for electronic and printed law journals
• Overview of legal data bases
• Printed and online legal bibliographies

The Virtual Law Library is a project promoted by the German Research Foundation (DFG) . The project started in 2003, went online in 2005 and is at present within the phase of expansion. You can find background information concerning the project and information about our cooperation partners here.
